Our General Manager William Vasquez in his recent visit to Washington D.C., last Tuesday, December 13, took advantage of his stay to meet with some people and entities in the U.S. territory. Among them, several businessmen from the United States.

In addition, he was present at the U.S. Embassy and met with the Ambassador of Colombia, Luis Gilberto Murillo, where they talked about the impact that converges the 'Bicentennial Act, alliance between the United States and Colombia', which will promote issues such as international cooperation, among them bilingualism and Digital Transformation in state organizations and institutions, increase U.S. investments in Colombian companies and strengthen relations between the two countries on issues of security, defense, human rights, this will open a new horizon, creating new opportunities for women entrepreneurs, Afro-descendant and indigenous communities.

They also talked about Afro Expo, the convention to be held in October 2023, in the city of Cartagena, in which there will be an important participation of the entire Afro community in the world, where there will be a broad cultural showcase of business and approach for all attendees.

Finally, we met with the people in charge of supporting entrepreneurs at the Embassy, including Laura Valdivieso and Manuela Valencia, together with the Procolombia team, to support the initiatives that we have been carrying out in the process of internationalization in the United States.
